Today it was again time for the biweekly Community Evaluation Session again, this time the subject was Software Update Management in Configuration Manager 2012. Since the session was already held in January this year, most of the session of today covered foremost the changes since the last time the session was held.  Since I am not a software developer most of the information shared during the SDK Community Evaluation Program of Configuration Manager 2012 session was a bit to technical for me. But nevertheless an interesting session, and maybe sometime in the future I will try the SDK  to test some PowerShell integration :) Let’s see what the SDK will bring the future Configuration Manager 2012 software developers!

As you probably know I am currently in the process of writing four chapters for the new Mastering System Center Configuration Manager 2012 from Sybex. The book is written with three other authors, Steve Rachui, Kent Agerlund and Santos Martinez. Today I was browsing the web and came across the picture beneath. Possibly the new front of the book? ;) Don’t know but it looks fine by me, only the surname of Kent is misspelled The scheduled release is March the 2nd of  2012 and the ISBN is 9781118128985 / 1118128982.

To give you an update, currently busy with my third chapter since my second chapter is in the review process. The other guys are also very busy writing about the beauty of Configuration Manager 2012.
