MMS_banner_180x150jpgBack home, recovered from the little jetlag and the very intensive week I will give with this blog a small insight in my second half of the week in Las Vegas. If we follow the rumors, the Microsoft Management Summit 2013 in this form will most likely not exist next year, but there will be some kind of MMS 2014 community event for sure. In what form and organized by who? Time will tell.

Last year I was awarded as a Microsoft MVP for System Center Configuration Manager for the first time. After another great Configuration Manager community year, I am awarded by Microsoft for the second time as a Microsoft MVP for System Center Configuration Manager.

mvp2013

I am very honored have received this award and to be part of the Configuration Manager community. Thanks to all of you that visit my blog, without you this wasn’t even possible!

newrelease-appToday I have released a new version of the ConfigMgrBlog.com app.  The layout is slightly changed so that we are able to place the title of a blog on one row instead of two or more. You are able to download the App in the Windows App Store via this link! If you like it please let me know.

An earlier blog about the app can be found here.

cm-winappHow cool is this, thanks to Microsoft Evangelist Marcel Nieuwpoort (and his team) who created the “App in a snap”-template this blog can now also be followed via the ConfigMgrBlog.com Windows 8 App.

Via the application you are able to read the intro from my blog posts and browse to the complete article via the link below the intro. In the future I will try to extend the app with several options. If you have an idea, please let me know!

Like every year top class speakers from the community, like for instance Microsoft MVP’s, and from Microsoft presenting nice breakout sessions for the attendees. There are currently 54 (out of 161) breakout sessions ConfigMgr 2012 related, lot’s to learn!

One of the incentives of receiving a Microsoft MVP Award is that you are able to visit the MVP Global Summit. For the first time I will  be attending this week the MVP Global Summit in Seattle. During the week we will be having lot’s of sessions with the Configuration Manager Product Team. Our week with the Product Team will be packed, five days full of sessions. Since I am not be able to write about the content of the sessions I will write this week about the other things that are happening in Seattle, Bellevue and Redmond. ;)
