JanYesterday was a big day for the System Center community with the release of System Center 2012 Release Candidate. Yersterday the Release Candidate 2 of the Package Conversion Manager for Configuration Manager 2012 RC2 was also released. The Package Conversion Toolkit will help you with the conversion of your classic software packages that you migrate from Configuration Manager 2007 to the new Application Model.

Today Wally Mead posted two links to new Configuration Manager 2012 TechNet Virtual Labs in the Configuration Manager 2012 beta forum. Last week I already posted a link to a TechNet Virtual Lab build with the Beta2 version of Configuration Manager 2012, the two new labs are build with the Release Candidate of Configuration Manager 2012. So you are now able play with Configuration Manager 2012 Release Candidate without having to building your own lab environment.
Today another CEP session was held by Rob Vogt and Ben Shy about the System Center 2012 Configuration Manager Package Conversion Manager and the Physical 2 Virtual Migration Toolkit . Let’s see what is changed since the last session about PCM and P2V Migration Toolkit was held.
Today the Configuration Manager 2012 team released the International version of Configuration Manger 2012 RC1. You are able to download this version on the Connect website. If you are interested in testing Simplified Chinese or German please install the International build of Configuration Manger 2012 RC1. Be sure to install the same languages on your Client Access Site and all primary sites.

NovWith the release of Configuration Manager 2012 Release Candidate, Microsoft also integrated System Center Endpoint Protection (was Forefront Endpoint Protection) with Configuration Manager 2012. Very welcome enhancements if you ask me, let’s see how this works. Wally Mead showed us the feature last week, let’s see I remembered everything correctly ;)
Is there life after the current Configuration Manager 2012 Community Evaluation Program? Yeah there is. Last week I found out that the program will continue after November the 16th when the current rerun will end. Probably it will be a rerun of the earlier sessions with all the new Release Candidate / RTM information. Read more

Yesterday was a very nice day for the Configuration Manager community with the release of Configuration Manager 2012 RD (with FEP 2012 RC) and System Center P2V Migration Toolkit RC. Today I found out that also the release candidate of the Configuration Manager Package Conversion Manager is released. The Configuration Manager Package Conversion Manager will help you with the conversion of your legacy Configuration Manager 2012 packages. A very nice enhancement of Configuration Manager 2012.
It is a very nice day, afterI found out earlier today that the Configuration Manager P2V Migration Toolkit was released earlier this week, just a minute ago the news came that also the Configuration Manager 2012 and Forefront Endpoint Protection RC versions are released! (thanks Kent!)
